How To Help

At Turner House, our community’s underserved infants, children and adolescents receive the medical care they need to reach developmental milestones, prevent childhood diseases and overcome the ill effects of poverty.  Parents and guardians receive the information they need to improve the safety of their children and help them prepare to achieve in school.  And, our community’s uninsured receive access to primary pediatric health care without depending on hospital emergency rooms, keeping medical costs under control for everyone.

By charging a nominal fee for each visit, Turner House is more than a hand-out.  Still, our financial burden is significant–more than 70% of our patients live at or below the poverty level.  And recent funding cuts mean we have fewer treatment dollars available to serve a growing community need.
