Turner House Receives National Grant to Support Oral Health Care for Underserved Children

August 13, 2017

Thank you to Healthy Smiles, Healthy Children: The Foundation of The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry  for awarding a 2017-2018 Access to Care grant for $20,000 to Turner House Children’s Clinic. Turner House is one of 10 organizations awarded this year’s grant, supporting dentist-led care to underserved children.

HSHC and Turner House believe that "Every child deserves a Dental Home" – a place to receive consistent, compassionate dental care.

"Healthy Smiles, Healthy Children is proud to support Turner House and the work they do to provide Dental Homes for children from families that cannot affor dental care, " said HSHC President Dr. Ned Savide. "For these children, the opportunity to receive consistent, compassionate dental care can open the door to a lifetime of good dental health."

HSHC is supported entirely through charitable contributions from pediatric dentists, oral health companies, the AAPD, and organizations with interests in advancing oral health.  For more information, visit www.healthysmileshealthychildren.org
